Broken. Afraid. Going nowhere. And then she met Jesus…and everything changed. This is the story of the Samaritan woman, who went from adulteress to evangelist because of one encounter with Jesus. Leaving behind her sin, shame, and insecurity, she told her friends, her neighbors, and her family—“Come and see what Jesus can do for you.” And her whole town was saved.

At this year’s combined winter retreat, we will be issuing The Samaritan Challenge. Are you up to it? Can you do what she did? You will be challenged to answer the call of God to go. Somewhere! Anywhere! You will realize that God has strategically placed you in order for you to touch people’s lives for God. And each of us will make a plan, and take a pledge to go home and live this challenge.  Imagine, 600 teens from Maine to Virginia all spending the next year pursuing their high schools, sports teams, friends, families, neighborhoods—imagine how many people can be touched by Jesus! So don’t miss it! Be there, ready to take the challenge!
