Encouragement. Ideas. Inspiration. Motivation.

Hey all – I am excited to launch the new Vineyard Youth East blog. As this unfolds my hope is that this will become a place where you, the youth worker, can come on a regular basis for encouragement, ideas, inspiration, and motivation. As the Winter Retreats showed us, God is working in the youth of the Vineyard East. My hope is to harness what God is doing with prayer and teamwork, and see even greater works of the Kingdom in and through our youth.

I will be putting together a board of several writers for this blog who’s job it will be to write insightful articles, answer questions, and keep this blog alive and well.  Anyone is welcome to send me questions, comments, thoughts, or articles for the blog and I’ll try and find a place for them.

At our leadership meetings this Fall many talked of wanting to connect with each other and wanting to seek support when needed.  This is the place for that.  If you are in need of ideas, have questions, need a resource—just click the Communicate Tab and we’ll post your question with a response from one of the team members.  Sound cool?  I think so!

  1. Darryl Santaus says:

    Hey ~

I have a small youth group. We were hoping to do something this summer internationally, but I have recently found out that one of my group won’t be allowed by his parents to go overseas. So, while I am still hopeful that I can persuade them, I’m wondering if anybody knows of any missions projects happening in the US that I can begin researching.

    Thanks for the help,
    Darryl

  2. Here’s a missions opportunity that helps people living in poverty. Teens come together for 5 days and help out fixing up homes. The event is called “Impact the Valley.”
